In what follows, a brief description of the test set-up, the test instrumentation, the data analysis and the results of the ground vibration measurements will be presented. 1 Introduction Usually strain gauges and accelerometers are used during flight tests to measure the deformation and movement of aircraft structures. These sensors are highly sophisticated and give data with a high accuracy within a short time.
